Because of me being bored in Algebra (and because the teacher almost doesn't give classes), I started to draw a butterfly. Then I got a crazy idea, giving that butterfly a piece of my crossover mind (long story on the "crossover mind" thing). This is the ending result: a half-fire/half-poison butterfly.
This little guy along with the rest of the Ikakus are going to be one of the native creatures of the Inaku Village. The Inaku Village is one of my fictional places I created for the story A Meeting in Time. I put the Inaku Village somewhere in France (because I'm crazy for France). I might draw the place out... when I can get to the scenery part of Art Class... if there is one anyway.
The Ikaku has upper wings of fire and the lower one of stinging poison (reason that the lower wing point is... well, pointy). Around its wings, it has fire, poison, flower and some water and ice designs on its wings. So this is why the Ikakus are also known as the Mosaic Butterflies

No one can get better without critique, appreciate how others take the time spotting the mistakes of your drawings instead of getting mad at them for ruining your "perfect world"....
It's harder than just writing "nice" or adding a smilie I tell ya.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
